The Portlaoise Youth Sports Club meets once a week in the Portlaoise Parochial Hall.
Mondays: 7.15-9.00pm
Age: 8 years -12 years
This is open to pupils of Maryborough N. S., Portlaoise and to children in the surrounding parishes.
Sports include:
• Badminton • Indoor Hockey • Indoor Soccer • Volleyball • Table Tennis • Chess • Draughts
It a great opportunity to learn new skills and have lots of fun!
Emphasis is placed on the importance of warming-up, stretching muscles, learning basic sports skills, cooling-down and of course....enjoyment!
