Maryborough National School is located in the heart of Portlaoise, on the Stradbally Road.

The school building as we know it was erected in 1897 but the history of the school can be traced back to 1814. An extension was built on to the school in 1987.

The school currently has 3 teachers and almost 60 pupils on roll.

Maryborough N.S. is in its 190th year of educating young people in the Portlaoise catchment area and everyone in the parish wishes it many more years of success and development.
